"I teach yoga to connect, to inspire and to empower others to live and believe in their own greatness and in endless possibilities. And because I love to laugh."
Yoga changed Nicole's life. Through power yoga classes, she learned to live as her true self on and off the mat, to connect with people and to come into full self-expression in all parts of her life. She is passionate about teaching yoga in the Baptiste style; she can't think of anything more inspiring than a bunch of amazing people sweating, breathing and giggling together. Come to her class and she will encourage you to try explore your edge, to laugh, and to see and choose new possibilities in your practice and your life.
Nicole is a certified Baptiste teacher and has trained extensively with master teacher Baron Baptiste, assisting him at teacher trainings and other Baptiste programs around the world. In 2013, she taught kids yoga on the yoga teaching team for the White House Easter Egg Roll. She also writes a weekly fitness column — Fit for Life — for The Seattle Times. She is in the process of becoming a certified Igolu leader.
Nicole lives in Seattle, where she teaches and leads workshops at Be Luminous Yoga in South Lake Union and Shakti Vinyasa in Bellevue. She also teaches stand-up paddleboard yoga in the summer for Surf Ballard. When she’s not doing yoga, she can be found tackling CrossFit, hiking her favorite mountains around the Pacific Northwest or chasing down great food.
