Driven by an endless sense of curiousity and a innate desire for connectedness, Kara’s passion is for life itself in all of it’s different directions.
An opportunity to practice yoga beside her mom in a small hot room arranged mat-to-mat and filled with strangers brought Kara to yoga several years ago. Little did she know, it would shake-up and transform all aspects of her life. Since beginning a daily practice of yoga and mindfulness, Kara feels her life is more inspired, creative, love-filled and connected than ever before.
For Kara, yoga is about discovery. She believes that stepping onto your mat is an invitation to discover what makes your heart beat, a practice in embracing all parts of who you are and learning to live fully from an authentic place. She believes that yoga is an opportunity to create (and re-create) love, gratitude, joy, playfulness, healing and forgiveness so that these gifts can be taken off of our yoga mats and into the world.
Kara completed her 200-hour training at a Baptiste-Affiliate studio in Philadelphia. She is pursuing ongoing training at Be Luminous Yoga and is a certified Kid’s Yoga Teacher.
